De acordo com o sargento Ranier Nunes, o golpe funciona da seguinte maneira:<\/p>\n<p>Um dos estelionat\u00e1rios fica na ag\u00eancia bancaria observando pessoas que sacam dinheiro em esp\u00e9cie e depois junto com outros comparsas simulam a perda de um envelope na frente da v\u00edtima. Ao serem informados pela v\u00edtima, que o envelope caiu, eles dizem que no envelope tem muito dinheiro e como forma de agradecimento convida a vitima para uma loja dizendo que vai lhe d\u00e1 um presente. Enquanto isso, o outro puxa conversa com a vitima e se oferece para levar sua bolsa, que ap\u00f3s ser entregue, eles fogem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA PM orienta a popula\u00e7\u00e3o em geral a n\u00e3o aceitar qualquer tipo de pr\u00eamio ou recompensa de pessoas estranhas em casos semelhantes. Ao se dirigirem a ag\u00eancias banc\u00e1rias para efetuar saques de valores consider\u00e1veis \u00e9 recomend\u00e1vel ir acompanhado de algu\u00e9m da fam\u00edlia ou conhecido.
